Parking at trailheads can be very limited. Using the hiker shuttle will help make your adventure stress-free!

Town of Keene Hiker Shuttle

Also known as the Garden Shuttle, the Town of Keen Hiker Shuttle will transport hikers from Marcy Field to The Garden Parking Lot on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Indigenous Peoples' Day weekend. Pickup will be in the southwest corner of Marcy Field on Airport Road.

Some of the hikes accessible from this shuttle are:

• Haystack (the High Peak) via The Garden
• Johns Brook Lodge
• Gothics via The Garden
• Saddleback via The Garden
• Basin via The Garden
• Upper Wolfjaw via The Garden
• Lower Wolfjaw via The Garden

Essex County Route 73 Shuttle (Marcy Loop)

The Essex County Route 73 Shuttle (Marcy Loop) route will run along Route 73, starting at Marcy Field and ending at the Giant Mountain Ridge Trail, and then turning around. The shuttle will operate from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 23 through Oct. 8, and will also run the same schedule on Monday, Oct. 9, 2023. The final loop providing return trips to Marcy Field will begin at approximately 6 p.m. There is no cost associated with riding the shuttle and no fee for parking at Marcy Field. The cost is $10 round-trip per person ($13 Canadian). The fee collected will go to support road and parking lot maintenance, porta-potties, and front county stewards staff. Pets are not allowed on the shuttle; certified service animals are permitted.
