The warming weather melts our snowpack, swelling waterfalls and making for the perfect low elevation hikes in the spring, some of which are included in our Wonders of Wilmington Hiking Challenge. The spring hatch brings fly fishers from all corners of the country, wading the clear waters fed by the surrounding mountains in search of the beautiful brook trout.
