Winter and the holidays are right around the corner. The Whiteface Region is plentiful with activities that won't break the bank, and are fun for the whole family. Grab your family and your winter gear, and head to Whiteface Region to indulge in some Adirondack winter fun that everyone will enjoy!

Village of Lights

You’ll be embraced in the Christmas spirit when you see the Village of Lights at Santa’s Workshop! This is a magical event for friends and family to enjoy the holiday spirit. You’ll enjoy caroling, their fire pit’s “roaring fire,” marshmallow roasting, feeding the reindeer, and you can check out all the shops. Santa will be there, so be sure get in those last minute requests if you think you’re on the nice list! Also, the Nativity Pageant presentation will be set on the village’s hillside. Come see the park transformed into a winter wonderland!

FIS Freestyle World Cup

Don’t miss your chance to see some of the World’s premier skiers, as the FIS Freestyle World Cup returns to the Adirondacks and Whiteface Mountain once again January 14-16, 2016. This is a three-day event consisting of mogul races at Whiteface Mountain, as well as aerials at the Olympic Jumping Complex. Watch as these mogul racers carve up the bumps on the moguls course on the Wilderness Trail at Whiteface Mountain. The races will start at 9 am on Thursday, January 14th. You’ll need a lift ticket and skis to access viewing areas for the moguls event at Whiteface Mountain. View the full schedule here.
