About

Asgaard Farm & Dairy

Asgaard Farm, with its long treed driveway and rolling emerald hills, is picture perfect. It's easy to see why artist Rockwell Kent was drawn to this bucolic locale. The farm is home to cattle, goats, poultry, and pigs. Dairy operations at the farm are currently on hold as the farm focuses on wholesale beef supply. You can find their grass-fed beef featured on local menus, including at The Mirror Lake Inn and The Ausable Club. They also supply beef to Reber Rock Farm in Essex.

Emerson House

Asgaard Farm and Dairy is the former home of artist, writer, adventurer and political activist Rockwell Kent (1882-1971). The home where he resided from the 1920s until his death, Emerson House, is available to rent for farm stays. Asgaard served as the inspiration for many of Kent’s paintings – discover how it can inspire you!
