"UnCommon" exhibit at Tahawus Center in Au Sable Forks FEATURES WORKS BY THREE ARTISTS:
HARRIS BILLECI, DANIEL HAUSNER, AND GILLES LAMARCHE, a diverse and divergent group of three artists sharing unique perspectives.
Harris Billeci is a multimedia visual artist and photographer from the Mid-Hudson Valley. A recent BFA graduate from Ithaca College, their work is textural, nature oriented, and introspective. Recent projects include photographic composites, collages, and unconventional methods of making prints.
Dan Hausner, photographer and woodworker from Saranac Lake, depicts mostly rural and natural scenes in a range of styles and subject matter. The handmade wood frames are all designed and built by the artist. His work covers a broad range from landscapes and rural scenes to abstracts.
Gilles Lamarche, from Au Sable Forks and Montreal, creates artworks in acrylics, oils, watercolors; canvas, paper, wood; portraits and figures, barns and fields, landscapes, mountains and rivers, abstracts and fantasy. His teaching and design journey has led him from New York City, to Florida, to the Adirondacks, and Canada.
