A Wilmington Holiday Tradition

Wilmington’s 2024 Christmas Parade & Party is presented by the Town of Wilmington and the Whiteface Visitors Bureau 

We are changing up our holiday tradition this year! The door to door Santa gift delivery began during COVID as a way to spread Christmas cheer even though we could not be near. Now that we are able to celebrate together again, we are going to have a a big community celebration to kick off the holiday season!

Get ready for a jolly good time on Saturday, December 14 at Preston Field in Wilmington, NY! Here’s what to expect:

• 5:00 PM – Parade & Car Decorating Contest
  • The parade will move from the Beach to Preston Field and be filled with trucks, lights, and themed floats!
  • Want to participate in the parade and contest? Sign up by contacting the Visitors Bureau. Line up for participants is at 4pm.
• 6:00 - 7:15 PM – Gifts for children 12 & under in Santa’s Cabin at Preston Field
  • Please register in advance to ensure we have enough for all children who attend by contacting the Visitors Bureau.
• 7:30 PM – Fireworks
  • Watch the sky light up in a festive display while carols are sung and the tree glistens!
• Enjoy free hot chocolate and sweet treats for all attendees throughout the evening!
