Join us for the Opening Ceremonies of the IBSF World Championships on March 5 at 7:00 p.m. in the Olympic Center as we roll out the red carpet and welcome 300 world-class bobsled and skeleton athletes, plus coaches, and officials from around the globe. This one-of-a-kind event will also honor 95 years of thrilling sliding history in Lake Placid, and celebrate the future and what’s next. It’s FREE and open to the public!

IBSF World Bobsled & Skeleton Championships

The IBSF World Championships, March 6-9 and 15-16, is the pinnacle of sliding sports! This premier event brings together the world’s top bobsled and skeleton athletes, all competing for the title of World Champion across disciplines at historic Mt Van Hoevenberg.
