Howl Story Slam 2025 – Kitchen Confidential
The Adirondack Center for Writing (ACW) and North Country Public Radio (NCPR) will host a Howl Story Slam at the Upper Jay Art Center on May 22, starting at 7:00 p.m. The storytelling theme is “Kitchen Confidential.”
Howl Story Slams are open to anyone who wants to share a true story, told without notes, in under five minutes. Volunteer audience members serve as judges, and a winner is selected at the end of each night. Winners will be invited to The Howl Grand Slam, which will be in early January, 2026.
There is no admission charge, but a $10 suggested donation will be split between ACW and NCPR, two North Country nonprofits dedicated to inspiring a love of storytelling.
More information can all be found at adirondackcenterforwriting.org/events.
