The 2024 Empire State Winter Games is a multi-day sports event hosted in Lake Placid, New York, from February 1 - 4, 2024. The Games will bring together athletes from across New York State and beyond to compete in over 22 winter sports events.
The Sports
Get ready for an exciting winter as the Empire State Winter Games unfold across various locations! In Lake Placid, NY, experience the thrill with events like Adaptive Bobsled, Ski Orienteering, Adaptive Biathlon, Alpine Skiing NYSSRA U16 & U19, Cross Country, Figure Skating, Girls U12 Hockey, Girls U14 Hockey, Long Track Speed Skating, Biathlon, Junior Bobsled, Luge, Short Track Speed Skating, and Skeleton.
The competition continues at Whiteface Mountain in Wilmington, NY, with the thrills of Freestyle Moguls, Adaptive Alpine, and Ski and Snowboard Cross. In Tupper Lake, catch intense competitions in Sled Hockey and the Winter Triathlon Sprint Triathlon. And don't miss the Snowshoe event in Paul Smiths and the Winter Bike competition in Saranac Lake.
