View the Eclipse from "The Grove"

The Town of Jay welcomes community members and visitors to view the eclipse from Francis M. Pattno & John F. Gale Memorial Park in Au Sable Forks, also known as "The Grove." With wide open spaces, cleared parking, and additional bathroom facilities, this is a great place to get out and see the eclipse, Jay style! 

The Dogfather Food Cart will be on site serving up tasty refreshments, including creative hot dogs, loaded fries, and more!

After Party

Avoid the traffic and extend the experience when you join the after party at the Jay Community Center, starting at 4 p.m. Enjoy live music, replay, and free hors d'oeuvres.

Safety First - Wear Your Glasses!

Solar eclipse glasses are special viewing glasses that allow you to look at the sun directly. Staring at the without proper eye protection can lead to the burning of your retina, and cause permanent vision loss. You’ll want to wear these for the entire event until the few minutes when the sun will be entirely blocked. Not all glasses are the same. Buy or source from an approved source!
