Ski season has kicked in and the entertainment at Whiteface Mountain has begun. There are events on the hill and off the hill. Something for everyone, even non-skiers.

See the World's Best Compete on their way to the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi

One of the biggest events on hill this winter is the USANA FIS World Cup Freestyle. The moguls competition takes place on Whiteface Mountain's Wilderness Trail on January 15 bright and early at 8:30 a.m. with finals taking place at 1:30 pm.  This is the last of the World Cup series races before the Sochi Games begin on February 7.  The Olympic team selections will be determined directly after this World Cup. And, if you’re staying in the Whiteface Region during World Cup weekend, don’t miss the aerials competition on Saturday, January 18 at the Olympic Jumping Complex in Lake Placid.
