An unforgettable summer is just a step away
Every season in the Whiteface Region is special, and summer is no exception. Made up of four communities: Wilmington, Jay, Upper Jay, and Au Sable Forks, there's something for everyone here in the summer season. Beat the heat this season and get close to summer in the Whiteface Region!
What to do
Get close to family fun! Christmas joy might only come once a year for most, but here, that jovial spirit is evergreen, so visit Santa's Workshop! Spend an afternoon at the beach, visit the historic Covered Bridge in Jay, get up close and personal with wildlife, bask in the beauty of the incredible falls at High Falls Gorge, experience the arts scene, or drive the Whiteface Veterans' Memorial Highway for some incredible views from New York's fifth highest peak.
What to eat
After eating dinner indoors all winter long, it's time to soak up some much needed sunshine by dining al fresco. Stop at a farm store for a picnic lunch, experience a nostalgic meal at A&W, or have a cold drink with an awesome meal at one of the many restaurants or pubs in the region. Of course, no summer day is complete without ice cream, and the Whiteface Region is home to possibly the best ice cream bar in the Adirondacks!
